First Time Trying Bible Study? Here's What To Expect
When you decide that you're ready to grow in your relationship with God, it can be tough to know where to start. Getting to know God through His Word is the perfect way to deepen your connection, while also growing in fellowship and faith with people who are also looking to grow in their relationship with Christ.
When you come to your first Bible study, you'll discuss a passage of the Word. Your Bible study leader may email or call you in advance to let you know which topic you'll discuss, allowing you some time to take a look at the passage in advance. Bible study is a time to learn and grow. Questions are encouraged, and you'll work together with your study group to discuss the meaning behind the passage, as well as how you can apply God's Word to your everyday lives. At the end of your Bible study, you'll talk about the passage you'll discuss the following week, and your leader may provide you with focus questions to help prepare you for the following week's discussion.
